Yes, a classic micro-post! You hooked me with the title (what? why would you need a pacer on recovery days?) then suckered me into the cuteness vortex!
A good reminder to see the trails through the eyes of a child, particularly the next time you find yourself forgetting how lucky you are to run trails.
This is the shortest post I have ever read on this blog, but packs more content than anything I've read all month. You get it, dude. You totally get it.
Hey, that a great picture. But, I was wondering where I could get a Inov-8 tee shirt. At the store I cannot find any locations online. I would be great if you could help me out.
Scott - unless you think of it as a "Generation Thing", this comment is sort of out of place. Nonetheless, I hope you brag up your dad's fantastic finish at the Rhododendron 10K yesterday (16th overall and best in his age division by over 18 minutes!!!). What a great time he had - especially for a hilly course - well, especially if you're 67 (I think he might be lying about that though). Nice guy, your dad. I hope you inherited all of his genes.
I LIVE for comments! Please add your thoughts, let me know you stopped by, etc., and be thoughtful of others. Always best if you sign your name, of course.
That is so perfect!
ReplyDeleteI think I just keeled over and died with an acute case of the cutes! So adorable!!
ReplyDeleteNow THAT'S the way to have a recovery run/walk. She will have a love for trails long before she fits in a pair of Inov-8's.
ReplyDeleteAwww... that made ME smile. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteAs the father of three daughters, I relate 100%. My recovery "runs" with them were in the pool, they're all swimmers. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteI got two myself - Great pic.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous picture--one you will treasure for years. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteToo cute. And I love Sharkies too. Delicious! We need to go for a run while I am in the bay area!
ReplyDeleteNow that's a post...your the man and you get it....good for you

so sweet, Scott- enjoy these times, she will grow up so quickly!
ReplyDeleteAre those Inov-8s I can see her wearing? ;)
ReplyDeleteThe image is classic..Makes you stop and ponder where that path will take her on the journey of life...
ReplyDeleteTony
what a sweet pic! You've got such a great blog--I loved the recount of the Boston Marathon with your Dad.
ReplyDeleteI probably won't be able to qualify until I'm in my 60's :o) but it gives me something to look forward to.
Kate
