2007 Western States on NBC tomorrow (Sat, 7/28 @ 3pm EST)
NBC Sports will feature the 2007 Western States as part of their coverage this Saturday, 7/28, @ 3pm EST. Here's the blurb from their Web site:
Darn no Tivo. Bike ride or Western States recap? What would a WS runner do:)
ReplyDeleteBike ride Rick!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to see if I can downlosd it somewhere from NBC or something since I don't even have TV...
according to the outro of the show (I actually watched it live), you can buy the episode on itunes
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this! We would have never known this was on TV (since we were out training like everyone else today). We Tivoed it and watched it tonight, and enjoyed it very much.
ReplyDeleteI was disappointed with the program. Hardly got to see anything of the run and essentially NOTHING about Nikki Kimball. I did enjoy the accompanying spot about the rock climber though. :-)
ReplyDeleteBetter than no coverage at all, but agree with Kathy. Even my wife thought it was too superficial to be interesting, and more like a little promo for Montrail (nothing against Montrail, some of shoes are theirs). There is a lot of stuff that I think if done right, laypeople can appreciate.
